i think i gave a rather curt reply "No.. i don't" and er.. walked away.

hahahaha. scarily, it's some agency where u need to pay some fees, attend some courses, see ppl like u then get cases if not.. ur money is gone lar. furthermore, the lady who approached me is only ard my age.

but still... hahaha. :) Eh.. Skinny!! i also kenna asked.. not only u wor..

feeling tired these days, back aching and stuff. not sure if i'm falling sick but.. cannot also. need to work and earn money if not don't know how to survive those months.

hiay. feel like gg for a holiday, but can't go due to certain circumstances. maybe... hopefully, end this yr or err.. next yr. hahhahaah.

i'm 2 days late for my song of the week... actually it's a tough choice, because both songs are by Ms Zhang and after much agony of trying to think (really hard) which is the best one, I've finally decided to award Wo Yao Kuai Le by Zhang Hui Mei the song of the week!! *claps claps*

i heard this song say maybe a month (or more) back over at the radio. and it wow-ed me. :) the voice, the lyrics, the arrangement. It's really good. they said (the they are actually those radio djs) Ms Zhang has been out of action for a long period of time, and her albums are gg the wrong way. becos in the first place, what's so good abt Ms Zhang is her voice, and her ability to emote all there is in a song. this time round, with her new album, the industry players thought well of it.

once again, congrats to Ms Zhang for winning Joyce's song of the Week. =P

went over for a hair cut today. so Kai is officially over at suntec, and the outlet manager. hmmm... that's y i think he charges a bit higher now. i paid 36 bucks for a hair cut, and err.. some value added services. hahaha.

i was coughing really badly halfway through. actually, since my trip frm Japan; i've been coughing now and then, and there's this tightness at my chest area. GASP!! don't know whats wrong lar, and i didn't want to see the doctor too.

oh yea.. as i was coughing quite badly, Kai went and took a hot cup of tea for me. okay.. so cont cutting my hair (i was still coughing)

Kai (he's a very chinese speaking person btw): aiyo.. y cough until like that. you want cough sweets anot? i got.

me: ar.. you got ar... ??

(off he went to get the sweets) and me still coughing. so this err.. wash hair lady came over and gave me a glass of hot water. Kai came back and gave me his doctor's prescribed cough sweets for him. eh.. it's okay to eat right? hahah.. cos.. it's prescribed by the doctor and we shldn't really eat what is not for us. but heck lar.. i took one.

so i was still coughing.. a another lady took the empty glass away and gave me another glass of hot water. all in all, i think 3 person came and gave me a cup of hot water. and Kai was like ah gong.. "eh.. i think u shld really go see a doctor. if u keep coughing like that, not good for ur lungs." (i think my lungs isn't too gd already)

he repeated that line for serveral times.

before that, once he sat down and cut my hair, he sighed. hahahah.

Kai: eh.. i not used to here leh. feels so weird.

me: aiya.. first day only ma.... plus bugis's outlet is a bit (or maybe many more bits) bigger than here. will get used it to lar.

so he's the new outlet manager, he kept guan cha-ing the new ppl under him. so this lady was speaking on the phone at the counter, with a .... this-is-my-house-i-can-talk-all-i-want-pose, so he wasn't too happy and gave another sigh. "She talk and stand until like that, like her house. give us bad image leh.. later must say her. "

so i made my payment, was a bit pricer than what i paid over at bugis. Value added services plus he's promoted. what to do... Jen paid 31 bucks for him just 2 days ago. aiyo.

btw, he went over to Japan for 9 days and spent thousands. he told me he brought 5000 sing cash and chalked up 2000sing of credit card bills. *claps*. he win le lor.

i think this song has been playing all over the place for a pretty long time. the first time i heard this song was over at american idol. nope, i didn't try find out what song it was... till sat night i heard it over the air in fish & co so i fast fast asked eh wat song is this ar? and the v efficient chin wee sent me the song that night. =D

the reason y i like this song is err.. hmm.. it's really catchy. it has a really pessmistic song title but i still like this song. heh. =)

so wat abt the highlights of the week? i started work and it isn't interesting (as always), the ppl there are fine. and i've always believe in don't bother abt other things. bother for what? so sometimes... just listen and keep quiet, don't talk so much. becos.. you'll get fed up and think these ppl are just way too shallow. i think.. F&B is in my blood.

mamasan moving to aust in may for studies, back for grad day in june and fly back again. good for her lar.. she's always so aussie, perhaps... a fresh environment would be good and it's a good experience. not sure if hui's moving too... eh if u guys rent an apartment i can go over and visit right? :)

made a pair of new glasses. budget wasn't high cos i usually wear contacts. nope the whole ra ra abt renu didn't deter me frm continuing wearing contacts. so the lady who worked there asked my cousin you cousin foreigner huh? hahahah. that would probably be the 845937204 person who thought i'm some chinese-malay, chinese-indian, chinese-ah moh mixed kind of person. is that a compliment ar? hahaha. okay.. tell u the truth lar, i'm hainanese-teochew mixed. can can can?

maybe it's becos of my eyes... i heard my dad's mum was from some tribe in china. so don't know y the eyes come from but i'm pretty. hahahaha. i copy from auntie anna "oh praise the Lord!!" heh. =P

travelling talks is in the air too. can't help but think of travelling again though im back frm japan for only abt a wk. i like the idea of flying to a land and just soak in the air, the traffic, the people, the earth. then you'll realise spore is really small. hahahahah. krabi? taiwan? bangkok? hahahaah. indecisive me again.

i'm finally done with da chang jin!! *claps claps* i think i'm pretty fast 25 discs in say abt a wk. at least it's a happy ending where the boy and girl live happily and ever after. :)

i don't know y the photo is like that. the colour seems to be a bit off huh. hmmm.. but he's a very famous baseball player in japan. Chanced upon him while i was playing with the tv control in the hotel back in japan. it wasn't him that attracted me to stay glue to the tv set but it was the game itself. i understood wat was going on becos i played the game for PE during my poly days.

as i was watching... this fellow came on. goodness. so handsome. hahahahah hahahahaa. right, i'm going ga-ga over him. he so man right? hahhaah. hahaha. *face red*

but anyways, he's married lar. hahahah.

btw, did u guys watch jewel palace? or da chang jin? tear jerking serial. i cried like crazy when i watched it on my comp last night. boo hoo. i heard from jen it has got 60 discs, i'm done with 25. so wat? 35 more discs? happy chasing.

Back to Spore

haiyo. i'm back. i didn't feel like coming back cos the weather is cold, unlike spore's 3 seasons - hot, hot, hot.

this trip was good. i saw snow for the first time in my life! =D pls don't count the snow over at snowcity. aiyo. that one is really cannot make it lor. hahah. the tempreture over at japan is ard 13-16degrees. cool but when the wind blows it's like huge bouts of ice water splashed across ur face.

Day 1
Took the 11.25pm flight on ANA and flew straight to tokyo, japan. watched just like heaven on the plane and had this bleah tasting super duper sweet syrup breakfast. reached tokyo at maybe 1pm then headed straight to this park where there's rows n rows of sakura trees. even on the streets itself, there's sakura trees. and goodness.. they are damn beautiful.

went on to this place tat sells electronics. somewat like sim lim square. just walked ard and didn't buy anything lar. cos electronics are said to be pricer in japan than spore.

3rd stop was dinner over at this shopping centre that overlooks a bay. hahaha. after dinner,

my ah ma asked "u got see my bag a not ar?"
me: no ar.. not with u meh?

so.. my ah ma lost her handbag which has her passport and cholestrol pills. GASP. passport leh!! don't play play lor. the worst thing that happens during a trip is losing ur passport. so we ran to the toilet which she went earlier to look for it. don't have. tour guide went to the info counter and asked for help to look ard. while i prayed like crazy.. cos it's no joke losing ur passport plus we were supposed to fly to osaka after dinner. no passport... how r u gg to fly?

tour guide came back.. no leh. how how how? tour guide will bring us to the spore ambassy to get temporary travelling documents when we come back frm osaka. but in the first place how to travel to osaka when u got no passport. "oh.. in japan for domestic flight, they don't require ur passport." wah.. thank God. so u see so gan cheong right?

Day 2

in osaka!! went to chinatown, yokohama. their baos are huge. big big fat fat de. costs ard 200yen, which is abt 3 sing? don't have much difference leh. hahahah.

universal studios!! it's travelling in a timemachine that brought u back to the fairytale land. do u know how long do u have to queue to take a ride? i queued for over 2 hrs just to get on a less than 5 min ride. goodness. the japanese are real patient ppl. hahahaha.

(i shall stop mentioning day what i went where, cos i've forgotten some of them) hahaha.

so over to mount fuji!! it's dirt beautiful, gorgeous looking. shall not further describe the moutain, picture speaks louder than words.

err.. went to other places but im tired to write them all down. so photos k. hahaha. all i wanna say is Japan has got a really different culture. it's really rare to see rubbish bins on the streets and the streets are dirt clean though there's hardly any bins in sight. was told that the japanese carry a plastic bag with them and put the rubbish in the plastic bag and bring home to throw it. i would personally award japan for being such a clean and green city. hahahah. just look at spore lar, so many rubbish bins ard, still so dirty. haiyo.

japanese are really polite ppl. everywhere u go o hai yo. ah li ga tou. they bow bow bow. hahaha. they also have a keep to ur right esclastor system. everywhere u go, ppl keep right on the esclastor. so those in hurry can go on the left.

talking abt the japanese ladies. all so beautiful wor. all of them are thin thin thin. wear short mini skirts even though it's cold. boots are common and they always wear heavy makeup BUT they are still beautiful leh... as for the guys.. so cute!! hahahah. nice hair, nice complextion, nice height. aiyo everything also v nice lar. hahaha. so i wanna marry a japanese guy!! =P

i remembered once, i was at the airport flying over to osaka. then this guy was rattling in japanese when he checked my baggage. i went HUH? can u speak english? then he spoke in slow halted english. it's really chicken hand duck leg talk. in the end he said "ah li ga dou gou zai mastu." and gave a half bow. wah.. so cute!! so cute so cute so cute!! :) hahahah.

bascially we travelled alot. moving from places to places like nomads. as i travel.. it'll make me realise spore is so small. wat can it offer? really? talking abt land and ppl and all other resourses, it'll lose out to the other countries tat are much bigger. but.. it's still good to be a sporean for a reason or another.

this is the range of phones in japan. so MANY!! and they are dirt cheap say ard 300 plus for a brand new out in the market. plus japanese don't usuaully carry cameras cos their phone has got high resolutions tats y they usually take photos with their cam.
