oh... i miss them. well.. i almost teared when i saw the both of them thru webcam today. aiyo, emo me. =X

hui switched on the webcam after my request, hui went out and got mich in. So yeah, i saw both of them on the webcam!! I LOVE MSN. hahah. =D

did i tell u that Dad hopes to retire in like thailand? think phuket there. hahaha. Dad is a oldie person lar, he loves the old days of farming, living in kampongs, having his don't-know-how-many-dogs around the backyard. so when he retires, he wanna go farm, rear chickens, pigs, dogs.. hahahaha. well.. that's what he says lar. maybe he'll end up like me talk only. hahah.. remember.. it runs in the blood. =P

so how was the bollywood dance?

haha.. it was a-okay. it was pretty fast but managed to catch up cos i'm still young. hahah. can u imagine me not catching up with the dance steps? aiyo aiyo. but anyways, i didn't perspire much which isn't very shiok. haha. so i prefer my 2.4km run or blading cos really perspire lor!! =)
and when u go for such trial classes, they'll psycho u to join their membership. it's abt 200 over bucks for a month with unlimited classes BUT most of the classes are yoga and I don't do yoga so.. not much pt, besides, i'm saving up money and would rather burn fats at the canel. hahah.

oh yeah, i walked to sch in the morning. =D uh huh uh huh. walked for over 20min from home all the way to sim. it reminded me sth. back in yr 2, hui and i walked from KAP (king's albert park) macs all the way to clementi interchange. we sang and talked for the whole journey. Hui Hui still remember? haha. if i were to use a phrase from my current fav book it would be - a perfectly encapsulated morself of a good past. ( hopefully in the right context lar.)

but WHY? why walk leh? cos.. i wanna save money!! i've got this intention of travelling to melbourne at the end of the yr. tickets alone is 1000++ so got to try save here and there. well.. if u wanna ask me out for lunch, i'll prob wont. hahah.

oh yeah.. my bday is coming. sept 25.. is a monday but there won't be any classes cos it's study break period for exams. err.. if u wanna be nice, and would love to bless me with sth.. y not cash? hahaha. cos.. aust not cheap leh. hahah. i'll tell u my savings acc no. then just debit the money in. (or was it credit ar? u debit cash, credit revenue.. so debit rite?)

oh ya.. tmr gg down to true yoga with jen for a trial session NOT on yoga but on some bollywood dance. hahaha. ok.. that sounds interesting. i think the fees are pretty ex, student package is over 100 bucks for a month then it's for 3 times a month. which i think is really not worth it and a wee bit too extravagant.

so.. if u wanna know how the whole thing goes tmr.. then err.. i might just blog abt it. =)

have got tutorials.. projects.. tutorials.. and projects. well, basically back to those poly days but this time round.. it's alot more tougher and i guess the expectations are higher since it's uni.

went down to national library today to do some research and i'm torn between two choices given by the lecturer. First seems to be easier but there isn't really much u can write about. The 2nd i feel like doing but i'm not confident becos it's argumentative essay!! aiyo.. i haven't done any argumentative essay for the whole of my life, i did narrative in sec sch then didn't do any GP.. so argumentative, how to tackle leh?

was down at the airport to send ah hui off, couldn't slp during the afternoon actually, don't know why also. met up the rest and headed down.

surprised ah hui and took lots of photos, then when it's finally time for her to go.. suddenly all the emotions welled up inside me.

nono.. cannot. the tears can't come down.

then when i hugged her.... BUAH BUAH BUAH ... yea lar, the tears came coming down like it's free. eh.. none of her family members cried lor, including her mum and popo.

we followed her to the departure gate, this time round we saw Ah Hui crying. hahaha. told ya, when she sees ppl cry, she'll cry too. and err... i think the trigger factor for those tears was me. heh. Ah Hui cried, then Amanda cried, then when we did a grp hug, i cried again. and u know wat??!! Ah Hui's uncle (my ex lecturer) was there snapping away of us hugging and crying...

then Ah Hui went in lar... ah Hui's popo saw me crying, then she comforted me and said " jin wu xim... jin wu xim" and err... touched some parts where she shldn't. hahaha.

goodness. i think i'm such a ku(1) bao(1). i watched i not stupid also cried serveral times. aiyah.. when it's all abt family ties, friendship and all, i'm pretty emotional. hahaha.

Anyways, Ah Hui shld be in Melbourne now. not sure if she's got internet connection...

for the first time in many months, i'm doing tutorials!! hahaha. well.. there isn't tutorials but i'm doing tutorials. hmmm..

was flipping thru all the photos (again) and well, i realised i don't have all the japan photos with me. ah ee developed hers and didn't develop mine so think i got to go get the film from her. Was over at ah ma's hse just last wk and flipped thru those tons of photo albums. wah.. ah ma and ah ee really travel a lot leh..

they've been to europe, america, parts of asia and ah ma though is already 70 plus but she's still actively travelling. hahaha. yea, she shld enjoy life anyways. =)

oh i remember teaching ah ma chinese when i was really young, cos she looked after me all the way till pri 1. but how come i didn't pick up any teochew? =( hahaha. but i think my teochew improved wee bit on our recent trip to japan.

in case u all didn't know, my ah ma's saved!! was baptised err.. after our japan trip and goes to church with ah ee. amen amen amen!! =)

oh there's this incident that happened at the reception area. we jus arrived and basically didn't know where to go (cos we're first-timers), however i was told to queue somewhere... but no queues seen what. so jen and me stood ard the reception area. this grumpy short, guest relation officer suddenly yelled off his head

Him: you all dong xi, go back and queue if not later i don't allow u to cut queue!!!!

Jen then whispered to me : what dong xi?? how can call us dong xi, we are human beings leh.. that irritant.

so frm then on, he's labelled irritant by Jen. hahaha.

was looking at the avaliable samsung phones on its website... and i'm so so so tempted to get a new phone. i read the papers a wk back, and Korea has got 10 megapixel cam phone by samsung. siao right?

i had a desperate answer to my always-so-unimpressive-skin condition.

went to ntuc after class and bought cucumbers and plain yougurt. mixed it all up and plumped it down on my face for well almost 30min.

my face seemed to have gone a wee bit whiter. hmmmm.... so is it good or bad? hahah. aiya, as long as it helps to remove 'those stuff' i'm happy. =)

the bunch of us went over to visit my poly first yr introduction to accounting lecturer at her home in hougang condo. chatted abt sch, life, life after sch and such.

u know.. at 31, she's got 3 kids. she's still hip, funky and well... really pretty. haven't got a pic of her but.. i would say she's one successful woman (in and out). she's gg to over to the states for her masters, fully sponsored by the sch. she manages 3 kids and one big man. hahahah.

i remember there was once we saw her at some sch buliding, she was donned in black with boots!! eh.. lecturer in boots wor... tats y we say she is hip.

how to further hip? she owns a blog too!!! =) well.. many others do, but i dont know of any teachers/lecturers/tutors leh.

the World Cup has been sending me into a frenzy, unhealthy lifestyle and a unimpressive complexion.

argh.

but who can resist those ever so exciting soccer matches? well.. i watched 2 out of the 4 quarter finals matches. cos i couldn't wake up at 3am, too tired le lar.

Germany vs Argentina

well, i rooted for Germany n my stakes are on them to win becos they're well on the way and have got the home crowd. Germany came back strongly still though they were one goal down, but yeah to penalty kicks!! :)

the 3 of us had a conversation during the match (mum, dad and me)

mum: Germany quite good ar...

me: i don't like Argentina, how come so rough one?

dad: Argentina exports beef

HAHAHAHAHAHAH. it wasn't much of a conversation was it? there isn't any link to each of the sentences said. hahaha.

so Germany was into penalties. Mum and me praying hard for Germany (mum was speaking in tongues!! it's true lor. hahah) Dad was so pissed off by the both of us and the Argentians for not putting those balls into the net.

so YEA!! Germany has NEVER lost on penalties so they went on straight to semis. Dad went back to room w/o saying anything. Mum said "hahha. papa angry already."

*oh yea, did i say i really like Germany's coach? think he's the youngest coach ard for this world cup. he leaps like a frog high into the air whenever his player scores a goal. and he's such a encouraging coach too... Germany might just win the Cup. =)

it was pretty much a boring game compared to the former. i was rooting for England but i don't expect them to win cos they've got a really boring coach, so they play really boring game. hahah.

the high pt was Wayne Rooney being sent off for pushing Christino Ronlado (oh, that's interesting). such a young fellow (he's the same age as me, but he's earning millions alr!!) but a fiery temper. bad bad bad. that Christino also another kapo kapo fellow. He went and kapo kapo (again) when Peter Crounch was fouled.
